Saturday 7 April – GLASGOW – Nice 'N' Sleazy (£7)

Tuesday 10 April – LONDON – Borderline **(SOLD-OUT!)**
Wednesday 11 April – BRISTOL – The Cooler (£7)
Thursday 12 April – BRIGHTON – The Hope (£7)

Critical acclaim for "Moonfire", the debut album from Boy & Bear, out now on Communion Records.

“Dave Hosking's emotive keen married to the bucolic beauty and close choral harmonies can’t help but recall Fleet Foxes, though there are shades of Arcade Fire and Mumford & Sons... Enjoyable stuff.”
Uncut – 4 stars ****

“A nu-folky mixture of stirring drums and choral harmonies… The musicianship is flawless throughout and at the core of their sound there's a country pop melodic warmth that should appeal to fans of Band Of Horses”
Metro – 4 Stars ****

“Already big news in their home country, Sydney five-piece Boy & Bear saw this, their debut album, reach Number 2 in the Australian charts. It’s easy to see why… Mixing folk influences with big choruses, their sound is equal parts Fleet Foxes, Mumford & Sons and Coldplay with hints of Arcade Fire… An enjoyable debut"
Q – 3 Stars ***

“Moonfire is a beauty. Tracks such as Milk And Sticks and Feeding Line have the innate pop sensibility and textural complexity of Crowded House and fellow Australians the Temper Trap”
The Sunday Times (Breaking Act feature)

“Moonfire is an album big on melody, heart and hooks… Boy & Bear make the perfect placebo for those still crushing on Fleet Foxes’ Helplessness Blues”
The Fly- 3 stars ***

“The nu-folk-rock boom has now gone global, spreading beyond it’s Anglo-American bases to Australia, where Boy & Bear have been a runaway success. There’s plenty to enjoy in songs such as Lordy May and Big Man”
The independent – 3 stars ***

“A folky mix of country-pop with chiming guitars and choral harmonies… Charming”
The Sun – 3 Stars ***
