Josh Ritter announces surprise release, out on Feb 21st 2012...

Named as one of their our 100 Best Living Songwriters by Paste Magazine, Josh Ritter is releasing a surprise six-track EP on Feb. 21st. Whilst writing for the new forthcoming album (as yet untitled), Josh realised that these particular songs didn't quite fit with the others. They do all have something in common though - they all use the word 'darling' in the lyrics! Hence the title of the release - 'Bringing In The Darlings'. Recorded over four days this Winter at Homeward Sound, a small studio in Brooklyn, NYC they will be made available via limited edition digital/CD and 10" vinyl formats on Pytheas Recordings on February 21st.
