From a small, quaint town in Leicestershire,
surrounded by a valley of rolling fields – Bethia has spent the last 5 years
emerging from her rural roots and spreading her wings out in to the Uk music
scene; with appearances at venues such as Moles (Bath), The Musician
(Leicester) and The Royal Albert Hall (London). In the midst of organising her
first UK tour, Bethia continues to produce new material about the journey her
music and life have taken her on and is currently working on a new EP (and her
third record to-date).
Her image and sound has seen many different forms and
transformations in her short amount of years as an artist, ranging from pop,
Jazz and soul, Blues, Nu-folk, alternative rock, country and now all comes
together in a culmination of styles to create a light but emotionally
provocative sound with a vintage 1940s twist.
