Chris Addison
The Time is Now, Again
Fresh from The Thick of It, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You and his sell-out 2010 tour, Chris Addison, the man who put the 'Chris Addison' into, "I see Chris Addison is touring again," is touring again.
He's written a brand new show, The Time Is Now, Again, specifically for the venue this website refers to.* (*And about 40 others, but the point still stands.) Top class stand-up from one of the classiest, toppiest stand-ups around. You should come and see him.
Chris will also be hosting the brand new comedy showcase Show & Tell coming to Channel 4 this autumn.
"Exquisite, super-smart solo show … gloriously funny." Time Out

Dave Spikey
Words Don't Come Easy
Inspired by the amazing audience reaction to his deconstruction of song lyrics in his Best Medicine Tour combined with his fascination with the vagaries of the English language, Dave’s hilarious new show examines many more situations in life where words really don’t come easy.
These include tongue-tied parents explaining the facts of life, ridiculous newspaper stories, poems, pathetic adolescent chat-up lines, hospital speak, learning a foreign language and an extended selection of song lyrics that range from the lazy through surreal to the ridiculous.
Throw in a Champion the Wonder Horse sing-a-long, a look at Ancient Abyssinian Contraception, Rubbish School Trips, Epidural Anaesthesia and The Last Supper and you have all the ingredients for a rich and spicy comedy casserole - a sort of Lexicon-Carne! Sorry.
Tickets £18.50
