On Wednesday 8th February the former Arab Strap frontman Aidan Moffat is set for a distinctive solo show at Klüb Gütenberg, the monthly night co-hosted by Rough Trade Books and the Quietus website. The evening will feature songs, stories and trademark Scottish salaciousness.

Tickets are £10 on the night and £8 in advance from:

The Old Queen’s Head
44 Essex Road, London N1 8LN
7.30pm to 11pm

Aidan has been a friend of The Quietus since the website was founded in 2008. In the role of Uncle Agony Aidan he dished out solutions for the sexual and emotional troubles of the Quietus audience. But perhaps his most striking Quietus contribution was his close lyrical analysis of Adele’s Someone Like You, which, it’s fair to say, upset some of her more sensitive fans.
