Green Day Announce Reissues of “39/Smooth” and “Kerplunk”
Multi-million selling and Grammy Award winning rock band Green Day have announced the release of re-issues of their first two classic albums “39/Smooth” and “Kerplunk” on December 20th. Both albums will be available on limited edition black & white vinyl for the first time in over a decade.
The seminal punk rock classic “39/Smooth”, originally released in 1991, will be bundled with the original 7” of the classic songs “1000 Hours” and “Slappy”.
The 1992’s “Kerplunk”, which is believed to be one of the most influential US punk rock albums ever made, will be bundled with the original “Sweet Children” 7” EP. “Kerplunk” will also feature the original version of one of the Green Day’s biggest hits “Welcome to Paradise”.
