We’ve been busy planning since the last Summer Sundae Weekender and are now happy to confirm the new dates for the 2012 edition as Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August 2012. We have moved the dates one week back due to the Olympics so please save the weekend in your diaries now.
We’ve also been very busy listening to your thoughts on last year’s festival. Reading your completed questionnaires, comments on social networking sites, and speaking to people directly at the event, we’ve taken a lot on board and wanted to fill you in on some of the changes we’ve decided to make.
One of the things a number of you asked us for is a cheaper ticket price. We have done our absolute best to keep our prices right down this year and are pleased to respond with a pledge to sell 2012 tickets at 2010 prices, with a limited number of Early Bird tickets on offer at just £95 for the weekend.
These will be on sale from Tuesday 6 December so make sure you grab one while you can. Please also be advised that due to planned building works at Regent College all camping will be on Victoria Park in 2012, with limited availability. So be sure to reserve your camping spot quickly for next year too.
You also asked us for cheaper tickets for 16 and 17 year olds. In response to this we have created a new ‘Young Persons’ ticket especially for those aged 14 to 17. Priced at just £60 for an Early Bird Weekend ticket we hope that this will make things easier for our younger audience and in particular for families with young adults amongst them.
As well as asking us for changes to the ticket prices and types, lots of you generally thought that we should simplify the ticketing process. So we’re introducing a ‘print at home’ ticket for 2012 which should be much more straightforward. Ticket prices and information can all be found on our website www.summersundae.com
